Yarwood, born Adankwah Yarwood Elvis, is a Ghanaian multi-instrumentalist, producer, and recording artist whose journey into music began at the tender age of 3. With a natural inclination for rhythm, he first embraced the drums before expanding his musical knowledge to the piano and guitar. However, it was the deep, soulful resonance of the bass guitar that ultimately captured his heart and solidified his musical identity.
A self-taught musician with an academic background from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Yarwood honed his craft through hands-on experiences in the music industry. As a session musician and producer, he has collaborated with an impressive lineup of celebrated artists, including Manifest, King Promise, Ladipoe, Alvin Slaughter, Phil Thompson, Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton and Quame Gyedu. Now stepping into the spotlight as an artist in his own right, he blends his years of experience with a fresh, emotive sound that resonates deeply with audiences.
Currently, Yarwood is preparing to release his debut EP, a project that fuses his instrumental expertise with compelling storytelling and innovative production.
